DID-based Identity Layer

Traceva’s identity management layer is structured around Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) and Verifiable Credentials (VCs), providing users with fully sovereign control over their digital identities. By utilizing DID standards, Traceva ensures identities are self-owned, cryptographically secure, and free from reliance on centralized identity providers.

• DID Generation: Users independently generate decentralized identifiers, establishing their digital identities on-chain or off-chain.

• Credential Issuance & Verification: Traceva allows trusted issuers to create verifiable credentials (e.g., proof of age, KYC status, citizenship) associated with DIDs, enabling holders to cryptographically prove attributes to verifiers without disclosing underlying personal data.

• Privacy via zk-Proofs: Credentials leverage zk-based cryptography, allowing selective disclosure and verification without exposure of sensitive identity information.
